HearUSA (AMEX:EAR), one of the nation's largest hearing health care organizations, is making a new home in Charlotte. HearUSA now operates five centers in the area, thanks to the acquisition and consolidation of Charlotte Audiology, Metrolina Hearing Aids and Hearing Aids Today hearing care centers.

HearUSA is thrilled to bring its name to the long-established Charlotte hearing care centers, which will continue to deliver the same high-class service and provide knowledgeable staff who have been helping Charlotte hear better for over 15 years. HearUSA will bring the resources of a highly visible media campaign and a dedication to technology, enhanced by a partnership with Siemens.

In the states where HearUSA already has an established presence, it is best known as the company that fitted NFL Hall of Fame Coach Don Shula with two Siemens hearing aids and solidified a relationship with him as their spokesperson. In 2007, HearUSA launched the "Just Find Out" campaign, in which Coach Shula appeared in newspaper advertisements, television commercials, and direct mail promotions, urging people to visit a center for a complimentary hearing screening.

The campaign was a huge success, resulting in increased awareness about the importance of hearing health care and additional testing among HearUSA's target audience. Now, HearUSA is bringing its most iconic patient to Charlotte to continue its quest for improved hearing.

In addition to the five centers currently open, HearUSA has plans to continue its growth in and around the Charlotte area. HearUSA's centers offer a complete range of quality hearing aids, with emphasis on the latest digital technology. A partnership with Siemens ensures that patients have access to the finest hearing aids available today, and each center is staffed by a licensed and credentialed hearing professional for personal care and professional service.
