XClinical, a European vendor of innovative software products for eClinical trials, announced that Oncology Services Europe (OSE), a full service CRO specialized in oncological clinical trials, has selected MARVIN as its enterprise-wide EDC solution.

OSE, who was trained on MARVIN last year, has recently signed an ASP contract and will start using the software solution in three large clinical trials which involve more than 480 sites in up to 20 countries immediately. "After a careful evaluation of the EDC market we identified MARVIN as the best solution to address our two major requirements. First, the ease of use: after a comprehensive training we are now capable to set up studies by ourselves. Second, MARVIN's special feature to combine EDC (Electronic Data Capture) and DDE (Double Data Entry) which is especially important in oncological clinical trials. XClinical's cutting-edge EDC system MARVIN will further enhance our great services in clinical research", stated OSE's CEO, Dr. Wolfgang Beier.

"We are extremely pleased that Oncology Services Europe has selected MARVIN as its enterprise-wide EDC solution. OSE's strategic decision to choose MARVIN as its EDC standard is further proof of our industry leading technology. The use of MARVIN has been growing very fast over the past years, reflecting the versatility and scalability of our product," said Dr. Claus Lindenau, Head of Business Development at XClinical.
