The NHS is changing and the Department of Health wants to hear everyone's views to help it deliver a world class health service. The Our NHS our future review is running an online questionnaire to find out what people want and need from the NHS. It only takes ten minutes to fill in and the results are confidential. The questionnaire closes in two weeks so log on now and have your say on the future of the NHS.
The Our NHS Our Future review is headed by Lord Ara Darzi, a leading surgeon and minister at the Department of Health.
Lord Darzi said:
"This Review is all about engaging with patients, public and staff to shape the NHS for the 21st century. It will be developed and owned by patients, public and staff together. I am determined we will get this right so we need to hear from as many people as possible.
Results from the questionnaire will be used immediately to inform key recommendations for improving services both nationally and locally.
The questionnaire can be found here.
Notes
Our NHS Our Future is underpinned by the largest level of local engagement in the history of the service. Lord Darzi has already met more than 1,500 NHS staff, talked to over 250 stakeholder groups, and received more than 1,700 letters and emails. Each SHA region will publish its vision of local models of care for the next decade in the Spring and Lord Darzi's final report will be published in the Summer.
