A Jeopardy-like psychiatry quiz competition, an academy award winning actress telling her personal story about living with mental illness, and a lecture on the relationship between music and brain disorders will be featured at the 161st American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., May 3-8.

-- MINDGAMES CHAMPIONSHIP

MINDGAMES is a national team competition for psychiatry residents at the APA Annual Meeting. The game pits teams of residents against each other in a battle to see which team of three knows the most about psychiatry.

Expect a race to the buzzer as each team competes for the coveted title of national champion and the bragging rights that comes with it!

The Seventh annual interactive "Conversations" event sponsored by the American Psychiatric Foundation will feature academy award winning actress and author, Patty Duke, who will share her personal story of living with bipolar disorder.

Dr. Sacks will discuss his work and insights on the relationship of music and uncommon brain disorders and how that relationship is marked by power and mystery. Dr. Sacks is best known for his books Awakenings, later made into a play and movie, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, and An Anthropologist on Mars
