STAYING SHARP IN SAN FRANCISCO: LEADING BRAIN EXPERTS DISCUSS SUCCESSFUL AGING
WHAT:
Brain function and health will be the focus of the Staying Sharp session on May 17 at St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco. Part of a highly recognized series, the program will emphasize successful aging, including how to deal with the booming aging industry; factors that predict future cognitive function; and the importance of clinical trials and how to participate in them.

The program is sponsored by The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives, in partnership with NRTA: AARP's Educator Community and MetLife Foundation. Featured speakers will be:
- Annette Norsman, PhD, session moderator and Director of NRTA
- Lennart Mucke, MD, Director, Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease, University of California, San Francisco
- Michael P. Stryker, PhD, W.F. Ganong Professor of Physiology, University of California, San Francisco
