Dr. Henry Buchwald, Professor of Surgery, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, will serve as moderator. The panel will include Dr. Neil Hutcher, Commonwealth Surgeons, St Mary's Bon Secours Hospital, Richmond, VA., Dr. Scott A. Shikora, Professor of Surgery, Tufts University School of Medicine, Chief, General, Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, and Walter Lindstrom, Jr., Esq., Obesity Law and Advocacy Center, Chula Vista, CA., a leading advocate for the rights of persons suffering from obesity. Join this leadership panel as they discuss the challenges of access to surgical intervention for the resolution of metabolic syndrome and other diseases and suggestions for improvement.

Questions from Healthcare professionals and the general public can be sent to Dr. Buchwald, Dr. Hutcher, Dr. Shikora, and Mr. Lindstrom up to seven days following the broadcast. The panelists will also address questions on June 18, 2008 at the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
