Early in the morning of June 14, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near the city of Kurihara in northern Japan, killing six people and causing considerable damage. To assist in recovery efforts, Neways Japan sent 400 boxes of oxygen-fortified Athletic Super Water® and 200 packs of fluoride-free UltraShine Radiance® toothpaste.

"Thank you very much for your help," said local welfare officer Yasuo Hirasawa. "We're making effective use of the Neways items by including them in our emergency supplies for shelters and temporary housing."

Neways CEO Eric Larsen affirms Neways' ongoing commitment to help disaster victims and participate in other charitable efforts around the world. "As a company, we enjoy great prosperity, and we make it our priority to share these blessings with others and help make life better for those who are suffering in any way."

Based in Springville, Utah, Neways is owned by Golden Gate Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity investment firm with approximately $9.0 billion of capital under management. Today the company is led by CEO Eric Larsen, who has 17 years of executive-level experience and has worked in more than 40 countries.
