The NPA is to hold workshops on different aspects of 'thriving in the service era', at the British Pharmaceutical Conference in Manchester. The workshops will run from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Sunday 7 September and are open to all NPA members.
Workshops, within the context of the Pharmacy in England white paper, will explore 'Taking up new clinical services', 'Embedding and demonstrating quality', 'Balancing your NHS income streams' and 'Nurturing key local relationships'.
An advice surgery will also be run at the event, with NPA staff on hand to answer questions on a range of topics from improving skills and skill mix to identifying and managing risks to understanding the regulatory environment. The event will also be an opportunity to view NPA support materials and tools that are included in NPA membership.
NPA members registering and attending this free session will also get free attendance at BPC on Sunday 7 September. Members should log onto the NPA website www.npa.co.uk/members to download a booking form and for more information on the event. On receipt of confirmation, the NPA will send members a code which they must quote when booking with BPC to receive their free admission.
