Chelation Therapy: Does it help?

posted by Tom on 26 Feb 2006 at 6:36 pm

I had open heart surgery last year and was also advised to have a
bypass in my right femoral which is 100% blocked, and a stent in my
left illiac which was 80% blocked AND clean out my right carotid
which was 67% blocked. INSTEAD I decided to give this chelation a
shot.

I was unable to walk 1/10 mile without severe pain in my left leg
because of the illiac blockage.I have had troubles walking a city
block for at least 6 or 7 years with pain in my right calf muscle
due to the blocked femoral.

After a few months of this intravenous chelation I walk on the
average of 7-10 miles a week, usually in 1-2 mile increments without
having to stop, and I have walked 6 1/2 miles without stopping and
several times have walked in excess of 3 and 4 miles without having
to stop.

I published the results of my tests on the forum. I am hoping of
course that I have similar results with my carotid and also keep the
bypass in my heart open so as to avoid having to go thru that again
Does chelation therapy have a part to play in this and has it been helping me? I think so I went as far as starting a group that anyone can read, post questions, opinions and it can be found at chelationforum.com
