The Arrhythmia Alliance is proud to announce that entries for the Arrhythmia Alliance Excellence in Practice awards 2008 are now open. These prestigious awards aim to recognise outstanding achievements and contributions to arrhythmia management services.

The three finalists of each category will be invited to attend a prestigious awards ceremony, which will be held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, on the evening of Tuesday 21st October 2008. Winners will be presented with a commemorative plaque in a ceremony following a gala dinner.

The Categories:

1/ Charles Lobban Volunteer Award for Outstanding Contribution To Arrhythmia Services 2008
2/ Team Award for Innovation in Arrhythmia Care 2008
3/ Award for Outstanding Contribution to Electrophysiology Services 2008
4/ Award for Outstanding Contribution to Device Management 2008
5/ Allied Professional Award 2008

Entries can be made on line at http://www.heartrhythmcongress.com, click on 'Excellence Awards' where full details can be found.

Closing date for entries in all categories is 26th September 2008
