Urodynamix Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:URO) announced that its worldwide distribution partner, Laborie Medical Technologies Inc. has received CE Mark approval to begin marketing the Tetra Bladder Monitor System in Europe. Laborie was also granted a medical device license to sell Tetra in accordance with Health Canada's medical device regulations.

"CE Mark and Health Canada approvals represent significant progress in the commercialization of Urodynamix's NIRS technologies," said Barry Allen, President and CEO of Urodynamix. "We look forward to expanding Tetra's availability in Europe and Canada with Laborie as our worldwide licensing partner. Following the U.S. launch of Tetra in June 2008, we now have access to 80 percent of the worldwide urodynamics testing market."

Tetra is a non-invasive diagnostic medical device based on Urodynamix's near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) technology. An accessory to Laborie's premium urodynamics systems, Tetra enables non-invasive testing of bladder activity in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).
