I-M Health is an 'early-detection' diagnostic tool, a software system designed to provide an accurate assessment of your patient's health by measuring their biological age. Drawing on years of research and medical data, it enables the practitioner to pinpoint and address potential areas of concern as soon as they become apparent.

Chronologically your patient may be 35 or 40, but biologically they may have the heart and lungs of an older person, indicating that something might be wrong. I-M Health measures the rate at which individual body regions are ageing, as compared to the patient's age group average. It is the first system in the world to determine biological age through physical, blood, urine and cognitive tests. These tests fall into two assessment categories; biomarkers and general health indicators.

Biomarkers are measurable changes that take place as we age. They cover a wide variety of measurements, such as changes in eyesight, hand-grip strength, the thinning of skin and cognitive function. They can also be measurements of specific hormones or chemicals that show a clear directional change (positive or negative) consistent with ageing.

General health indicators take into account the patient's current state of health. They can be known markers of disease and disorder and so are useful when assessing the general health of the patient. They may also be used in the future to reveal unseen health trends in the patient.

Once the results have been collated your patient will receive three reports

1. A powerful visualisation of results in the form of a body map. The map clearly shows the patient where they are ageing.

2. Advice and guidance provided by the healthcare professional. Armed with your patient's test results, you'll be able to provide a comprehensive, tailored programme that suits their individual requirements.

3. An extensive health-assessment questionnaire.

The reports are designed to be kept for future reference so that comparisons can be made with additional test results.

Regular measurement with the I-M Health system allows you and your patient to monitor the effectiveness of any changes you implement - whether lifestyle, diet, exercise or nutrition - as well as the effects of any treatment you choose to use.
