Bangkok Mediplex has signed an official agreement with major healthcare and medical tenants which reinforces its position as a world-class medical mall and underlines Thailand's status as Asia's medical hub. Bangkok Mediplex is on schedule to open its doors by the end of the year.

Mr. Niwat Kittichaiwong, managing director of Bangkok Mediplex Co., Ltd. said, "Through this tie-up with world-renowned doctors and Thailand's top specialists in medical care, health and beauty, holistic and traditional medicine, Bangkok Mediplex will truly be a world-class medical mall where customers will experience the best treatments and therapies.

"Moreover, thanks to the specialist knowledge and international database of Pacific Healthcare - the region's leading international healthcare service provider and our partner - we believe that Bangkok Mediplex will play a vital role in promoting and enhancing Thailand's position as the region's medical hub," Niwat said.

The world-renowned doctors and top specialists who signed the agreement include: Dr. William Chong (Pacific Healthcare Holdings), Dr. Kulwat Prasertsuntrasai (Mediplex Specialist Centre), Dr. Preecha Tiewtranon (Preecha Aesthetic Institute), Dr. Varocha Mahachai (Digestive Health Clinic), Dr. Manut Utoomprukporn (Ear Nose Throat and Hearing Clinic & Eartone Hearing Aid centre), Mr. Han Mei (AcuMedic Asia), Dr. Churaiporn Uthaisang (DDS Clinic), Mr. Viroje Vasusuttikulkant (Bangkok Sleep Disorder & Snoring Center), Dr. Montanat Rojjanasrirat (Chirofit Chiropractic Clinic) and Ms. Natthanan Sahawat (Holistic Medical Centre).

Bangkok Mediplex's four storeys of medilifestyle, wellness and health offerings will occupy over 10,000 square metres. There will be a total of 39 outlets available almost around the clock to serve both local and international residents as well as tourists. Each of the mall's floors is divided into four categories; medilifestyle shops and restaurants, general medical care, health and beauty, holistic and traditional medicine.

"Bangkok Mediplex is extremely customer-centric and caters for an individual's every health need. Customers will be able to choose all-inclusive health packages covering accommodation, check-ups and on-going treatments. Our offerings will not only be for patients who need treatment for an illness but also for customers who want to purchase health products and, quite simply, stay healthy," Niwat added.

The unique premises, located in downtown Sukhumvit and accessible from Ekkamai BTS Sky train station, are currently in the final stages of construction and are scheduled to open by the end of the year.
