"Covering All Kids: States Setting the Pace," National Health Policy Forum: The issue brief examines state efforts to expand health coverage, especially to children, in the absence of a national solution. The brief includes the history and status of state universal children's health coverage initiatives and profiles several states that appear to be leading efforts to expand coverage. The brief also examines what lawmakers at the national level could learn from the state initiatives (National Health Policy Forum release, 10/9).
