GTCbio just announced its 7th Annual Conference on Cytokines and Inflammation scheduled for January 29-30, 2009 in Sunny San Diego, California.
The goal of the conference is to provide an overview of the state of the art developments in the field, bringing together a mix of academic, industry (Pharma and Biotech) and public sector experts in an intimate setting that favors the showcase of data, the exchange of ideas and networking. With many breakthroughs in basic science and the widespread use of immune-based therapies in all fields of medicine related to Immunology, the conference offers a timely presence where top scientists and industry leaders gather to discuss the latest breakthroughs and collaborate in the effort to discover cures and treatments for life-threatening diseases.
The Keynote presentation will be given by Dr. Michael Karin, Professor of Pharmacology, Tumor Growth Invasion & Metastasis Program at the University of California, San Diego. The conference also includes a featured presentation by Dr. John Sims, Scientific Executive Director of Inflammation Research at Amgen as well as many other leading researchers in immunology.
