Passion for the Planet, the UK's only radio station focused on helping people live a greener, healthier more ethical life has celebrated its sixth birthday by choosing charities to benefit from a free advertising campaign.
Guests at the birthday celebrations were asked to nominate a charity to receive the free radio advertising campaign and the MS Trust was nominated by long term supporter Caroline Hollingworth, whose mother has MS.
The MS Trust campaign will launch on air from 12 January 2009 and is a fantastic opportunity for the MS Trust to reach out to more people affected by multiple sclerosis and to raise awareness of MS amongst the general public.
Jo Sopala, Fundraising and Marketing Director said "We are extremely grateful to Caroline for nominating us and Passion for the Planet for donating this air time. This is a great way for us to let people know about the MS Trust and the services we offer."
Passion for the Planet reaches over 90,000 people per week and broadcasts on DAB radio in London and the across the south and nationwide via the internet.
