"We are strongly committed to ensuring the safety of our customers and of the products sold in our stores," said Winell Herron, H-E-B Group Vice President of Public Affairs and Diversity. "The product has been removed from all our stores and will be returned only once it is completely safe."
To notify customers of the voluntarily recall, H-E-B has posted signage in its store and has locked the product's code in its computer system to ensure none of the affected products are sold at the register. The affected product has been removed completely from stores and has been disposed of safely.
Customers who have purchased the product are asked to return it to their nearest H-E-B for a full refund. Customers with any questions or concerns may contact H-E-B Customer Service at 1-800-432-3113.
