ICON plc (NASDAQ: ICLR; ISIN:IE0005711209), a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, today announced that it has been named "Research Company of the year" at the annual PharmaTimes awards. This accolade was based on the combined success of ICON teams and individuals who won multiple awards. ICON Clinical Research won gold, silver and bronze in both the Clinical Research Team of the Year and Clinical Research Associate of the Year categories.
