The Biophysical Society has announced the winner of its Minority Travel Awards to attend the Biophysical Society's 53rd Annual Meeting at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts, February 28- March 4, 2009.

The awards are meant to encourage participation at the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting by minority students currently studying biophysics. Recipients will be honored at a reception on Saturday February 28, 2009.

The 2009 recipients of the Minority Travel Awards are: ###

The Biophysical Society, founded in 1956, is a professional, scientific society established to encourage development and dissemination of knowledge in biophysics. The Biophysical Society's Annual Meeting is the world's largest meeting of biophysicists - over 6,000 attendees are expected.
