HDMA Announces 2009 Ibusiness Solution Award Winners

The Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) presented its iBusiness Solution Awards to AmerisourceBergen Drug Company and Axway at the HDMA 2009 Distribution Management Conference & Expo (DMC) in Baltimore, MD. The awards honor the use of innovative technology to streamline supply chain operations and improve business efficiencies.
"Relentless innovation and ongoing process improvements are critical components of success in an increasingly complex healthcare supply chain. HDMA commends this year's winners for their innovative systems and processes," said HDMA President and CEO John M. Gray. "Streamlined, strategic supply chain solutions drive efficiency and ultimately benefit patients as the healthcare industry faces unprecedented challenges."
In the Active Distributor Member category, HDMA presented the iBusiness Solution Award to AmerisourceBergen Drug Company for its StreamServe Automated Output software. StreamServe is an enterprise-wide document automation application that reengineers and streamlines the customer document generation process, improves the quality of documents and service to customers, eliminates errors and reduces costs. Business documents addressed include invoices, credit memos, return authorizations, recall notices, new product notifications and customer letters.
In the Allied Service Provider Member category, HDMA presented the iBusiness Solution Award to Axway for Axway Trade Activity Manager (TAM). Axway TAM is a solution that allows organizations to monitor demand across distribution networks and manage complex trade operations. Axway TAM enables trade, customer service and finance managers to visualize, analyze and quickly act on demand trends and inventory imbalances in real-time.
