Mimecast, offering SaaS-based email archiving, continuity and security, announced University of Tennessee Medical Center (UTMC) has realized a 60 percent IT cost savings by selecting Mimecast Unified Email Management (UEM) for its 4,000 email users. As email has become the de facto for business communication, UTMC's deployment of Mimecast's UEM service assists them to comply with HIPAA regulations by ensuring its data held in email is fully secure both in transit and in storage.
