WellQuest Medical & Wellness Corporation ("WellQuest") (OTCBB:WEQL) announced the recent launch of its Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program. WellQuest's unique approach to weight loss addresses a growing $2 billion market.

WellQuest's approach to clients' weight loss offers a complete continuum of care that includes physician supervision, education, counseling, products and maintenance follow-up. WellQuest's individually tailored, physician supervised protocol is designed to help clients achieve their weight loss goals. Treatment begins with an initial physician consultation to measure the client's metabolic rate; water, muscle and fat composition; as well as conditions that may impact medical issues such as diabetes or high blood pressure. An individually tailored 12-week program is implemented which focuses on creating a long term shift in lifestyle and mindset towards nutrition and exercise. As clients graduate from the 12-week phase, they transition into a self-directed lifestyle which is supported by WellQuest's Optimum Health Program, a component of WellQuest's wellness services.

WellQuest intends to replicate its medically supervised weight loss program by implementing it in new centers that the company plans to open in the future. New programs, such as the weight loss program, are created and launched in the Bentonville, Arkansas flagship location and are designed to be replicated at future centers.

"With obesity being the leading cause of preventable death in the U.S., a weight loss program is one of the cornerstones of our offerings at WellQuest. Helping our clients to reach and maintain a healthy weight level is something WellQuest is ideally positioned to do through our integrative approach to health and wellness. Combining the resources and expertise from our medical clinic, our wellness center, and our medical aesthetics offerings, we take a comprehensive approach to helping our clients get well, stay well, and look well," stated WellQuest President Steve Swift.
