This marks the 50th Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) National Convention, which is the largest medical student conference in the southern hemisphere.
The event runs from Monday July 6 to Sunday July 12 and includes an array of lectures, workshops, debates, an emergency challenge and social events.
AMSA President Tiffany Fulde said, "this event has a strong history of bringing together future doctors from every medical school in Australia and New Zealand to share their thoughts and ideas across a wide range of issues, with the common interest of improving health in Australia."
These students will also have the opportunity to engage with leaders in health and politics including Dr Charlie Teo, Professor Ian Frazer, Professor Vinay Kumar, Dr John Taske, Dr Dzung Vu, Her Excellency Ms Penelope Wensley AO, Nick Earls and Tania Major.
To provide personal encounters of survival against all odds will be Lincoln Hall and Perry Cross.
