TCT will also host forum on electronic medical records

WHAT:


TCT (Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics) 2009, the annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, will provide cutting edge research on the impact of treatments on patients with cardiovascular disease, as well as Alzheimer's disease and diabetes.

In addition, TCT will present the latest data on the safety and efficacy of drug-eluting stents, the next generation of stents, and angioplasty techniques in patients with a wide range of conditions and severity of diseases.

Also new to TCT 2009 will be a forum on Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Top national experts will discuss EMR and its relevance to the health care reform debate.

September 21-25, 2009

Late-breaking clinical trials and first report investigations will be highlighted during press conferences scheduled on Wednesday, September 23, Thursday, September 24, and Friday, September 25. Additional details will become available in the coming weeks.
