Elsevier Global Medical News Launches H1N1 Channel

An H1N1 influenza channel has been added to the Elsevier Global Medical News (EGMN) wire service division of the International Medical News Group. The H1N1 channel was created to meet physicians' continuing needs to keep up-to-date with the news about the spread of the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus, as well as the new diagnostics, vaccines, clinical trials, and treatments for H1N1 infections.
"Rapid dissemination of H1N1 news will be essential to physicians during this pandemic. EGMN wants to assure its clients that physicians will look to them for the latest H1N1 developments," said Alan Imhoff, president and publisher of the International Medical News Group.
Elsevier Global Medical News is the daily syndicated medical news wire service of the International Medical News Group (IMNG), which has a 40-year history of success in providing medical specialty news. The EGMN division was launched in January 2006 and its syndicated news now appears in 30 countries as part of its clients' websites and intranet and is the medical specialty news provider to Elsevier's MDConsult, MedConnect, and OncologySTAT.
