HRC Fertility has the ability, through GSN's 24 Chromosome Aneuploidy (extra or missing chromosomes) Screening test with Parental Support™, to obtain DNA fingerprints from both an embryo and the genetic parents, compare them to one another, and confirm they share the same genetic material, in essence, guaranteeing the parents that the embryo is theirs. In addition, the GSN 24 Chromosome Aneuploidy Screening test with Parental Support™ technology enables genetic testing to be completed on all 24 chromosomes of an embryo using just a single cell of DNA, rather than the standard 5-10, delivering highly accurate results. Accurate screening of each embryo across all 24 chromosomes greatly decreases the chance that an aneuploid embryo will be transferred.
