In honor of the breast cancer survivors who have benefited from her skin solution™ product, ibody science founder Saga Stevin will donate $5 to the Virginia Piper Breast Center at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., for every 1 oz. bottle sold online through the end of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Minneapolis-based ibody science is leading the trend in next-generation skin care by going back to the basics with the all-natural, lab-tested blend of 13 organic and plant-based oils.

Developed in the kitchen of company founder Saga Stevin as a gift for family and friends, the product's effectiveness spurred stories of healthier skin to bare - reducing and softening scars, alleviating rashes and comforting a number of skin conditions.

Locally, skin solution is used at hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, med-spas, laser centers and private physician wound care facilities. skin solution is also available at the Institute for Health and Healing and at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Patients at the Piper Breast Center and numerous others praise its ability to penetrate skin and help rapidly restore healthy skin texture.

Beyond its use to help with the appearance of scarring and aid the recovery of minor skin ailments, skin solution has been confirmed through lab testing to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Specifically, skin solution has been independently lab tested to stop the growth of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), the cause of staph infections in open wounds.

"skin solution can be used for a wide range of skin ailments, from post-procedure skin recovery and helping with the appearance of scarring to small, everyday irritations," said Stevin. "Customers have shared so many successes with me, from clearing up diaper rashes and scraped knees to soothing bug bites and small cuts and softening stretch marks. They no longer feel the need to cover up skin that was once scarred or bothersome."

With oils chosen specifically for their nutrients, vitamins and minerals that promote skin health, skin solution has gained a loyal following among proponents of natural skin care and those who have had limited success with traditional over-the-counter and prescription medicines.

"skin solution is a miracle, even on delicate post-surgery skin," said Gretchen Piper, skin solution user. "It's a great product and used by many during the post-surgery healing process."

skin solution retails for $57 per 1 oz bottle and can be purchased at Abbott Northwestern gift shop and online at the ibody science web site. Half-ounce bottles are available for $29.95.
