This week, Consumers Union, the nonprofit organization that publishes Consumer Reports magazine, stepped into the health care debate by airing a 30-second television ad supporting an overhaul. In an interview with Kaiser Health News, Jim Guest, the president and CEO of Consumers Union, says, "This is the year for action." The organization is getting critical comments from some members for sponsoring the campaign (Schiff, 10/9).
