Elsevier Selected As New Publisher Of The Journal Of The American Academy Of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Elsevier is pleased to announce that beginning with Volume 49, Number 1 (January 2010) it will assume publication of the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, official publication of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
According to Josh Spieler, Health Sciences Publisher, "Elsevier is delighted to add the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the most highly regarded peer-reviewed journal in its field, to our publishing portfolio. Working with the Editor-in-Chief, editorial board, and the AACAP, our intent is to extend the reach of the journal, both domestically and internationally, and to support the translation of scientific discovery into improved patient care."
As it enters its 49th year of publication, the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry will continue under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Andrés Martin, M.D., M.P.H. and its distinguished editorial board. The journal provides cutting-edge, peer-reviewed scientific content on all aspects relevant to child and adolescent mental health Each monthly issue will also provide opportunities to participate in accredited continuing medical education activities to enhance overall clinical proficiency.
Editor-in-Chief Andrés Martin, M.D., M.P.H stated, "We are pleased to have entered into this partnership with the largest and most respected publishing house in the field of science and medicine."
