Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE: MDT), the world's leading medical technology company, announced it will participate in the 21st Annual Piper Jaffray Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, in New York.

William Hawkins, chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic, will speak to attendees of the conference at 8 a.m. eastern time (7 a.m. central). Hawkins will provide remarks highlighting Medtronic's plan to deliver sustainable top and bottom line growth.
