The following summarizes selected women's health-related videos.

Olbermann Talks Nominees: Political commentator Lawrence O'Donnell joined "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann to discuss the implications of the Senate's confirmation of 27 Obama administration nominees. The flurry of confirmations helped stave off recess appointments over the Presidents Day weekend, but many nominees -- including Dawn Johnsen, Obama's pick to head the Office of Legal Counsel -- remain unconfirmed in the face of GOP obstruction (Olbermann, "Countdown," MSNBC, 2/12).

Planned Parenthood Explains Contraceptives: The Planned Parenthood Federation of America posted a series of educational videos on its YouTube channel this week to explain various birth control options. The videos discuss the effectiveness of various methods, how they work, and their limitations and side effects. The series includes videos on the birth control patch, emergency contraception, vaginal ring, tubal sterilization and other methods (Planned Parenthood Federation of America, February 2010).

Ezra Klein Visits Rachel Maddow: Washington Post health policy blogger Klein and host Maddow discussed Republicans' latest response to health reform efforts and the likelihood that Democrats will use the budget reconciliation process to advance the legislation. Maddow also weighs in on some news outlets' misleading and incendiary takes on Democrats' health overhaul plans (Maddow, "Rachel Maddow Show," MSNBC, 2/12).
