Getting it right: challenging behaviours in teenagers in general practice - Tuesday 8 March 2005

This one-day conference at the RCGP 14 Princes Gate, London, aims to support GPs in improving the care they provide to teenagers. The recently published 'National Service Framework for Children & Young People' and the White Paper on Public Health: 'Choosing Health' have both highlighted the importance of promoting the health of teenagers, managing health risks, and recognising emotional & psychological problems at an early stage. Despite the growth of other services, general practice remains at the frontline of dealing with teenagers in difficulty.
