Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) President Daniel Sisto lauded Governor Paterson's decision to appoint HANYS to the External Advisory Group of the Governor's Health Care Reform Cabinet.

"HANYS' member hospitals, nursing homes, and home health care providers serve on the front lines of our health care system, where they see first-hand how policy changes improve or impede their ability to provide the best patient and resident care.

"We are therefore pleased to have been invited to join the task force. We will work to ensure that patients and New York's health care providers have a prominent voice in this important process."
