Tokyo (JCNN) - FANCL has announced the results of its latest research on silymarin, an extract derived from milk thistle seeds.

According to its experiments on human begins, a regular application of silymarin-based cosmetic and supplement (either alone or in combination) can effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Therefore, the company has concluded that silymarin has an anti-aging property.

Detailed research results were presented at the 104th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Dermatological Association held in Yokohama from April 22 to 24.
