Generic Pharmaceutical Assoc to Testify Before House Committee on Generic Utilization, USA

Kathleen Jaeger, President and CEO of the Generic Pharmaceutical Association, will testify on Wednesday, May 18 before the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health on "opportunities to achieve substantial savings for patients through greater generic utilization."
In her testimony, Jaeger will discuss a variety of measures that states have enacted to promote generic usage to reduce Medicaid costs, as well as offer suggestions for Congress on how to capitalize on the substantial savings generics provide to the health care system as it debates how to handle increasing health care costs.
