Sex offenders in the USA will have to get their erectile dysfunction treatment privately as many states are stopping using Medicaid to fund their treatment. So far Virginia has ordered funding to stop, as has California under the orders of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Other states following suit include New Jersey and Texas. They will all have to follow suit.
Schwarzenegger said politicians in Washington developed a terrible policy of providing state-funded Viagra for convicted sex offenders.
Legislation is going through in Virginia which will ban the provision of state-funded erectile dysfunction treatment for convicted sex offenders - officials say that within a year the legislation will be in force permanently.
For the last seven years, convicted sex offenders in the USA can receive up to four erectile dysfunction treatments (tablets) per month (provided by the state). Now, state providers have been warned that they must stop this provision (for convicted sex offenders).
