IIC Show is arriving at Manchester Central in less than 20 days.
IIC Show is set to be the first dedicated exhibition promoting rehabilitation in North England. It is set to be the largest ever disability healthcare show and is arriving at Manchester Central on 14th-15th February. It will be providing a much needed platform for both the 1.8 million disabled people in the North West and also for healthcare professionals based in the North to continue their professional development via a number of FREE CPD accredited seminars.
The stages for these seminars will be designated each to Occupational Therapists, Carers, Physiotherapists, Doctors, Nurses (varying grades), Education Professionals, Neurological professionals as well as a Key Note Theatre and Moving and Handling theatre by ETAC.
The ETAC Moving and Handling Theatre will provide professionals with the advanced skills and knowledge of caring with regards to personal care. A unique combination of theory, demonstrations and interactive approaches will benefit professionals and their clients with an insight into techniques and current practice. Partnered with the College of Occupational Therapists they will be providing open surgeries and one to one consultations on both days of the conference and exhibition.
The professional Keynote Stage will focus on the disability strategy and the strategic plan that will provide direction for the development and coordination of services that impact the lives of people with a disability, their families and carers in the UK. The SEN theatre at IIC Show will attract education professionals, families and young people to ingest a wealth of information with regards to special education needs. There will also be a Main stage which will provide invaluable advice, resources and information for the general public and end users.
With other show features such as a family fun inclusive area, an adaptive sports zone, a mobility car showroom, up to 250 exhibitors pertaining to carers and anybody with an interest in disability, IIC Show will be THE must attend event of 2014 for carers and anybody with an interest in mixed ability.
