Officials from the Bronx Zoo-based Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) will host the 7th International Conference on Environmental Enrichment at Columbia University's Lerner Hall, featuring more that 200 experts from 15 countries discussing innovations in keeping animals in zoos and other facilities happy and healthy.

WHAT:
Officials from the Bronx Zoo-based Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) will host the 7th International Conference on Environmental Enrichment, featuring more that 200 experts from 15 countries discussing innovations in keeping animals in zoos and other facilities happy and healthy.
BACKGROUND:
From teaching dolphins to use an underwater keyboard to communicate, to innovative ways to keep polar bears in zoos happy to the pros and cons of "carcass feeding" to captive carnivores, an incredible variety of animal enrichment techniques will be discussed by experts from around the world.
WHERE:
Columbia University's Lerner Hall, 115th St. & Broadway
WHEN:
Monday Aug. 1st through Friday, Aug. 5th. A KEYNOTE AND PLENARY ADDRESS WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, AUG. 1ST FROM 8:30 -10 A.M.
