Not only was the 12th Annual Pharmaceutical IT Congress an excellent platform for discovering the relevance and importance of IT in the pharmaceutical industry, with various opinions and experiences. The congress also included invaluable networking opportunities for delegates and solution providers a like throughout the two days. The two parallel streams enabled attendees to tailor the agenda to suit their area of interest and expertise, the addition of evening networking drinks gave attendees the chance to unwind and broaden their connections further. A delegate from GSK commented on the networking opportunities on offer at the congress "The congress gave me the ability to mix with other attendees, both delegates and vendors in the pharmaceutical industry. It's really beneficial to hear about what other organisations are doing and how."

The Global Account Director from AT&T Business mentioned that, "The Oxford Global staff were excellent to work with, the balance and timing of the congress was very well done. I found that I could network with all the clients and partners that I wanted to."

With the Audit Manager from Bayer AG explaining, "I thought the organisation of the congress was of a very high standard. There were excellent networking opportunities that enabled me to get to know fields of expertise I was rarely in touch with before."

For many of our Solution Providers the highlight of the congress was the networking opportunities and the pre- arranged 1-2-1 meetings with chosen delegates.

Life Sciences Business Development Manager from Tessella stated, "The congress had an intimate setting which allowed me to meet with various key people. An excellent fit for Tessella with lots of opportunities to network and meet with very high level and quality speakers and delegates. We find speaking at this event to be very successful and beneficial for the company." Along with the quality of the presentations and the speaker seniority, overall the delegates main highlights were the diversity of topics, the congress format, the structure of the programme and the Pharma IT driven content.

Business Application Architect from Ferring commented, "The content of the congress was 100% focused on the IT domain, problems and challenges in the pharmaceutical industry. I found that the innovation flavour was very interesting and the organisation of the congress as a whole was excellent."

Head Research IT / Account Manager from Novartis Vaccines emphasised, "I really enjoyed the different dimensions used to approach the two main themes of the congress; the large constructive interactive sessions were very useful."

Following the event, we analyse statistics and feedback from attendees, and we are proud to announce that we achieved an "Above Average" rating in all categories including:
