ADHD Conference to be held in Seattle

Learn what you need to know about ADHD, how it impacts a person with this disorder, and what can be done about it. Attend the 3rd annual conference on October 8-9,2005 that is sponsored by ADD Resources, a national non-profit organization
This exciting 2-day conference will jumpstart your understanding of AD/HD and, for those with AD/HD, it will help them to live more happily and productively. For those with more knowledge about AD/HD, this conference will broaden their understanding and provide more tools and ideas for improving their own life or the lives of patients or clients.
Learn from John Ratey, MD, author of "Shadow Syndromes", and co-author of such nationally popular books as "Driven to Distraction," "Answers to Distraction," and "Delivered from Distraction." Dr. Ratey is the major presenter on Saturday.
On Sunday, Angela Tzelepsis, Ph.D., therapist and college professor, with years of experience working with ADHD clients of all ages, will be our major presenter.
Besides hearing these two outstanding authorities, attendees will be able to participate in four different breakout sessions from a selection of thirty breakout sessions presented by ADHD physicians, therapists, coaches and professional organizers.
The conference is on Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Registration fees are $85 for both days for ADD Resources members, or $100 for non-members. Single day registration options are also available. If you register after October 2, members and non-members pay $125 for both days. Advanced seminars for ADHD professionals wanting continuing education credit are $75 each.
The conference is conveniently located at Foster High School, 4242 South 144 th Street in Tukwila. The high school is located about two miles north of Sea-Tac Airport. Several hotels are in the area to accommodate for out-of-area attendees.
