The 3rd edition of inviTRA, the international assisted reproduction and fertility fair in Spain, will take place this year from May 8th to 10th in Barcelona, at the Hotel Barceló Sants.

This event was created as an answer to the great demand of information about fertility problems that affect 15% of the population according to WHO (World Health Organization). Thus, infertility has become a public health issue and is now considered as the fifth worldwide disease (among the population younger than 60).

Nowadays, the social age to become a mother doesn't match with the best biological age. The integration of women into working life and their bid for their professional lives, as well as the worldwide crisis and the resulting delay of economic stability, brought many couples to postpone the moment to form a family. Unfortunately, studies demonstrate that the woman's age is crucial when it comes to achieve a pregnancy: the chances of not reaching it during the first year, when younger than 30, are 8%; when 35, they are 15%, and when 40, they increase up to 36%.

We are facing a real social problem, which doesn't only affect for not being able to have a child, but also for all devastating psychological consequences for those who live this experience. inviTRA was created for this reason, with the aim of offering solutions, support and information to all the people who need help to form their family. About 40 clinics and centers specialized in assisted reproduction and fertility will participate to this fair, where you will be able to talk directly with them on their stand. Experts and associations will share with you information and experiences during many talks.

This year, new to inviTRA, some talks will be translated simultaneously in English, French and Italian. The magazine that we give to every visitor will be also translated into these languages to make it easier for people from other countries to have information. Finally, some guides tours of the different stands will be proposed to help foreigners to orientate themselves at the fair.

20% of the assisted reproduction clinics of Spain are concentrated in Catalonia and Barcelona is one of the favorite destinations of Europeans. This is one of the main reasons Barcelona was chosen for this edition of inviTRA in addition to its good communication with the rest of Europe.

The entrance to this event is free, you only need to download your ticket from our official webpage: http://www.invitra.com/tickets/
