The Endocrine Society and The Hormone Foundation to hold Science Writers Conference to discuss controversial issues The Endocrine Society and The Hormone Foundation will hold a one-day Science Writers Conference to educate the media on the importance of the endocrine system in relation to overall health. The endocrine system is often overlooked by the media when addressing health issues, although it is intricately linked to all major body systems. Leading researchers will discuss controversial issues such as:

* Anabolic steroids
* Sexual orientation: Nature vs. Nurture
* Superior diets
* Women's Health Initiative
