The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) will hold its 2006 Annual Convention and Preconvention Program at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC, Thursday through Sunday, March 23-26, 2006.

Don't miss the opportunity to attend the AIUM Annual Convention--the world's largest educational meeting dedicated solely to medical ultrasound. More than 2000 ultrasound professionals from diverse specialty areas are expected to attend.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view the newest and best in ultrasound technology, network with colleagues from around the world, and enhance their professional skills through categorical courses and scientific, Meet-the-Professor, Just Images, and film panel sessions. The 2006 convention will also feature scientific poster exhibits, commercial exhibits, and Case-of-the-Day ultrasound challenges. Several hands-on scanning courses will also be offered, including musculoskeletal, vascular, and-- new this year--obstetric ultrasound.

The 2006 Preconvention Program will be held on Thursday, March 23, and will feature 5 different courses: (1) Pediatric Ultrasound; (2) Nuchal Translucency; (3) Ultrasound Screening: Principles and Applications; (4) Interventional Ultrasound: An Update; and (5) Obstetric-Gynecologic Emergencies.

In just 4 days, attendees of the 2006 AIUM Annual Convention and Preconvention Program will have the opportunity to earn up to 30 American Medical Association PRA category 1 CME credits or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists category A credits.
