New Web site, Institute on Medicine as a Profession: The new Web site, which aims to be a resource for academic researchers and others, includes a new library of documents and other data on medical professionalism and information on IMAP Advocacy Fellowships (IMAP Web site).

"HealthCast 2020: Creating a Sustainable Future," PricewaterhouseCoopers: For the report, PricewaterhouseCoopers interviewed 700 health and business leaders in 27 countries about their health systems. According to the report, interviewees all expressed concern about the future of their current health system; most countries appear to have pieces of their health care systems that work; global solutions can be applied to local health care problems; and consumers are expected to play a larger role in health care ("HealthCast 2020: Creating a Sustainable Future," January 2006).
