Tokyo (JCN) - Medinet has signed a joint research agreement with the University of Tokyo and Shin-Yokohama Medical Clinic.
Under the terms of the agreement, the three partners will jointly undertake through March 2007 clinical studies of activated self gamma-delta T cell therapy, in which they aim to verify the safety and effectiveness of the therapy against non-small cell lung cancer.
The studies are designed for 10 patients who were treated for lung cancer at the University of Tokyo hospital. Through these means, Medinet aims to establish a new cancer therapy at the earliest date possible.
