The International Osteoporosis Foundation World Congress on Osteoporosis in Toronto from June 2-6 will bring together clinicians and researchers presenting their latest research one of the world's most common and debilitating diseases which affects one in three women and one in five men.

Early trends indicate Toronto Congress will be the largest osteoporosis conference ever
With a record number of 720 abstracts submitted, the world's leaders in the osteoporosis field sharing their latest discoveries and more than 680 Poster presentations on the program, the IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis (WCO) 2006 shows early signs of being the most successful WCO ever. "There has been an overwhelming response to the Call for Abstracts with high quality submissions received from all continents and more than 60 countries. The IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis promises to be the largest gathering dedicated to understanding osteoporosis ever held," said Professor René Rizzoli, Chairman, IOF Committee of Scientific Advisors and Chairman, IOF World Congress on Osteoporosis 2006 Scientific Committee.
