Long acting medication gets approval for new delivery method

More than two million Americans suffer from schizophrenia, a brain disorder that impairs the ability to think clearly, relate to others and distinguish between reality and imagination.

Missing daily medications is one of the most common problems in schizophrenia treatment and can often interfere with recovery.
