A young boy has died of bird flu in Thailand (needs to be confirmed it really was bird flu).

The boy's brother (who had died earlier) did not die of bird flu, said officials.

'The younger of the twins who has bird flu has died,' chief government spokesman Jakrapob Penkair told a news conference.

Bird flu has now killed 13 people in Thailand and Vietnam.

There are 18 more suspected victims of bird flu in Thailand (11 have died). Authorities are waiting for experts to tell them whether they had or did not have bird flu (or, how many had bird flu).
