The UK Academy of Medical Sciences says that the government should double the tax on alcoholic drinks.

They say that alcohol consumption in the UK should be reduced.

According to the Academy of Medical Sciences the price of alcoholic drinks, in real terms, is half of what it was in 1970.

They say that there has been a massive increase in alcoholic drinking in the UK.

This increase in alcohol consumption has brought with it more health, social and public order problems.
