Elsevier has announced the addition of 56 prestigious titles from The Clinics to its premier electronic platform, ScienceDirect (http://www.sciencedirect.com/). The Clinics span a variety of subjects within the health sciences, ranging from pediatrics to surgery. Among the 56 titles to be launched are: Medical Clinics of North America; Pediatric Clinics of North America; Surgical Clinics of North America; Radiologic Clinics of North America.

The addition of these titles to ScienceDirect increases the number of health sciences titles to more than 600 and the total amount of online journals available on ScienceDirect to more than 2,000. With The Clinics on ScienceDirect, researchers can quickly and easily link across all content including more than 2,000 scientific, technical and medical journals, book series, handbook series and reference works and eBooks. Internal cross-referencing and external linking, enables users to follow their research path with greater ease and efficiency.

About The Clinics

The Clinics (are periodicals that provide comprehensive clinical reviews of timely subjects, including diagnosis and therapy, new materials and new equipment. Each Clinic contains invited reviews (usually 10-14 per issue) on a single topic in a specific specialty or subspecialty. Guest editors for each issue invite leading experts to pen state-of-the-art reviews on a specific aspect of the topic.
